Accessibility Statement

We aim to meet Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, the benchmark referenced by the European Accessibility Act, the UK public sector accessibility regulations, and US Section 508.

We describe this as a target rather than a conformance claim. We have not commissioned an independent accessibility audit. Saying “fully conformant” without one would be a claim we cannot support, and this site does not publish claims it cannot evidence.

• Keyboard access. The site and the assistant interface are operable without a mouse, with visible focus indicators.
• Contrast. Text is checked against the AA contrast thresholds in both the light and dark themes. Both themes are maintained deliberately; the light theme is the default.
• Structure. Pages use real headings, lists, and landmarks so a screen reader can navigate by structure rather than by reading everything in order.
• Text sizing and zoom. Layouts use relative units and reflow rather than breaking when text is enlarged or the window is narrow.
• Motion.Animation is minimal and respects the operating system's reduced-motion setting.
• Assistant conversations. New messages are announced to assistive technology as they arrive rather than appearing silently.

These are the areas we are least confident about. Listing them is more useful than a blanket claim of conformance:

• Data tables and charts. Benchmark results and comparison tables are dense, and some are wide enough to require horizontal scrolling. Chart content is not always fully available as text.
• The embedded assistant widget.It renders inside a frame on a client's website, and its accessibility partly depends on how that site is built. We control our side; we cannot control theirs.
• Voice features. Spoken input and output are an alternative way to use an assistant, not a replacement for accessible text — and speech recognition is less accurate for some speakers than others. Text is always available.
• Third-party sign-in. The Google sign-in step is operated by Google and follows their accessibility implementation, not ours.
• AI-generated content. An assistant composes its answers as it goes, so we cannot guarantee every response is formatted as cleanly as hand-written page content.

If something on the site or in an assistant stopped you from doing what you came to do, please tell us at [email protected]. Describe what you were trying to do and what happened; if you know which assistive technology and browser you were using, that helps us reproduce it.

We aim to acknowledge within 3 business days and to tell you whether we can fix it and roughly when. If a fix will take time, we will look for another way to get you what you needed in the meantime — including simply answering your question directly.

If you are not satisfied with how we responded, say so and we will look at it again. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to raise the matter with a national accessibility or equality body. We would much rather resolve it with you directly and quickly.
